Farewell Scotland
Unfortunately we had to go back to Carrickfergus, the doctors were insisting that Beverley had a medical, so we had to go back and sort that out. We were in Troon and there was a big blow...Journey's End
We had planned to only stay in Rothesay for the one day, but Storm Ellen decided to come our way so we stayed for a few more days before sailing the Kyles of Bute. Storm Ellen had decided to come...Three woman on a boat
We were in Millport having a chill, but all good things come to an end because it was time to pop around the corner and collect our friend Karen. She was coming up from Liverpool to stay with us for...What was that bang hiss noise
We were at Lamlash and our plan was to sail over to Troon to pick up some guests, namely my daughter Gemma and her partner Harry. We were in Lamlash and although the mooring had started out fine,...Back in the saddle again
Our electrics were all complete, at last, and the marina's were letting people sail again, so it was time to knock off our rust spots and get back in the saddle again and go sailing. We were...Carrickfergus
Well we might be stuck in Carrickfergus, but the weather has been beautiful, so we went out with the camera to take pictures of the town, the castle and the marina. ...Our watermaker

On the 23rd March 2020 the UK closed down for three weeks, but before it did we managed to get a few sails in. For once it was a sunny day in Bangor, so we took the opportunity to get out....Going Backward

Raising money for the RNLI
The RNLI turned 200 years old on 4th March 2024. So as sailors and people who promote the joy of sailing, we thought that we would like to raise just £200. What we hope is that other people take up the shout and raise their own £200. In the last 200 years the RNLI have saved over 144,000 lives and yet they are funded entirely by people like you. They are not government funded.
