This book is very easy to read and teaches you all sorts about how to trim your sails to get the most out of them. Beverley who is a great reader has read it several times already while Gaynor who is a slower reader has read it twice now. It is certainly a book we will both be reading again as we improve. Safe Skipper

This company sells apps for your phone to test yourself on all sorts of knowledge from bouys to lights. The apps come in at less than £2.00 so a reasonable cost for improving your skills. However there are some quizes for Free These quizzes are fun to do and are a great way of learning as well as testing your knowledge.

Sail Train

The knowledge provided at Sail Train is completly different to that of Safe Skipper, but it does provide lots of knowledge all for Free. There are some quizzes mixed in with the knowledge but these are word quizzes so you really need to know your stuff.
