Marina Hokey Cokey

It was at last time to leave our morning in the Menai straights. We had been there two weeks, and in that time we had a rest which we both needed. Three weeks of being in the yard working flat out...

I can't believe this was aboard

Relaxing in the Menai straights can be hard, especially if relaxing is not your thing. So while I was away at my Mums, Beverley scrubbed the deck several times, getting rid of the yard muck. It took...

We got ourselves a convoy!

After the yard, we stayed in Liverpool marina for one night as there was still lots to be done including adding sails and giving Salty Lass, the first of many cleans that were needed. However,...

Nightmares!!

As we continue on with our essential maintenances, we come across various nightmares which we overcome in true Salty Lass fashion. Boat wiring The less that is said about our previous owners...

Mooring and Moaning in Millport

We prefer to ENJOY our sailing rather than ENDURE our sailing, but sometime that just does not happen. After we had stayed the night in Rothesay, we went to Millport to go to the moorings there....
Raising money for the RNLI

The RNLI turned 200 years old on 4th March 2024. So as sailors and people who promote the joy of sailing, we thought that we would like to raise just £200. What we hope is that other people take up the shout and raise their own £200. In the last 200 years the RNLI have saved over 144,000 lives and yet they are funded entirely by people like you. They are not government funded.
